• Bleak, dead, and monotonous are the words I use to describe the scenery in January. A depressing time, it seems, to me when outdoor activities are attenuated unless you are a hardy individual whose metabolism is so high you are fine with a polar bear plunge.

In January my mental state declines and I aspire to a warmer clime. It seems I am not alone in my melancholy at this time of year. People’s spirits seem to reach depths of despair to such a degree that it affects the health. January is the month of death, it seems…

    Death in January

True enough, it is winter blues that seem the fault more than the month. The death count declines come spring, summer, and fall, but rise again when the cold wind blows. I don’t think it’s actual physical trials that cause the mortality climb, it seems more mental….

Death in January from mental disorders

I am puzzled though, at the rise in August. Yet, this does not detract from the infamy of January, which still dominates the chart.

My dad suffered his heart attack January 20th of 1995. He was dead by February 6th, if I recall. My mother followed within two weeks. Winter is a bad season for my family.

Perhaps we should have Congress eliminate January.

    The Myth:

The majority of people now parrot the politically correct progressive narrative that people who are gay are born that way. Personally, I never have. In my opinion it is upbringing and their surroundings which determine orientation.

Science does not back those asserting a genetic origin for homosexual behavior. No fewer than eight studies have found that homosexuality is not the cause of genetics.

Cited among those studies is one on identical twins. The low rate of common homosexuality is explained by nurture, not nature. For example, a boy without a father figure is more prone to homosexuality. A girl without a mother figure was more so prone.

When all is said an done the final conclusion is clear: homosexuality is a psychological malady, not something people are born with.

The myth that gays are “born that way” needs to be dismissed. It needs to be buried along with the myth that the sun orbits the earth.

    What Should Be Done:

“This is not behavior that any rational society should condone, endorse, subsidize, reward, promote or sanction in domestic policy or in the marketplace,” said Bryan Fischer of the American Family Association… “It’s a choice, and a bad one at that.”

Now, I do not have all that very much respect for the American Family Association. It is after all, a Christian backed ideological organization. Yet, I have maintained for years that gay behavior is a choice, not a determined thing from birth. I have personally witnessed individuals going back and forth between the two. One year gay, next straight, both times asserting that this is what they truly are.

Society should not endorse the gay lifestyle. It has no business doing so. There are many health threats posed by such a lifestyle such as a greater threat of AIDS, substance and alcohol abuse, depression and anxiety, and more.

My personal stance is that homosexual behavior is not normal. I do not, however, harbor any ill will toward anyone of this orientation. I simply do not want to know them. How much clearer can I make it.

  • A product never seen, yet there are millions that accept it exists. Heaven, eternal life, is dehydrated watersuch a product. You can’t see it… till you die. You can’t come back and tell anyone that it exists. It is as real as dehydrated water. Certain snake-oil salesmen have been selling this product for years. Of course they don’t call themselves snake-oil salesmen, they call themselves pastors, reverends, priests, and preachers. How can they sell this stuff, this eternal life, an apartment in Heaven? They count on death. Yep, just like your coroner, your funeral parlors, even life insurance companies: they sell based on death. People do not want everything to end. They do not want anything to end, especially life. So they concocted an elaborate scheme to rake in the dough without having to do any heavy lifting. So they offered people what they wanted… a chance for eternal life.

Some people, they found, thought it crazy… life after death? How can you offer that? hellCan you prove it? They put their brains in gear… they needed some way to scare these yokels into believing, buying into the scheme. They invented hell. If you don’t believe… you go to hell. People lined up, wanted to know how they could avoid such a fate… “believe” they were told, listen to the church, “we can tell you how to be saved”.

Well, it has been a few years since the scam was first introduced. Still, there are people who doubt… still others that do not believe at all.

The Christian, Muslim, name your poison, both fear death. They believe, they hope, they are among the chosen… their fears should be gone. However, every Christian I have ever seen, though they would never admit it, still fear death. They do not know if they have obeyed God’s orders from on high. They do not know if their thoughts have betrayed them and thereby purchased a ticket to the realm of fire and brimstone. They are reassured every Sunday that they are secure, but come Monday the doubts return and the question is repeated: “Am I good enough?” fear of death

These people so fear their God, fear death, that they would rather keep a man alive with machines, in intolerable agony, than let him go by switching off the power. They seek medical services with great desperation, when all they have to do is die and an eternity of bliss would begin. Do they really… I mean … realllly believe? Not from outward appearances. They fear death like if it were the plague.

Atheists seem more secure in their lack of belief. After all, the evidence for an actual mark twain and deathGod, much less Heaven, is totally non-existent. They rest assured that with death does not come some macabre judgment, but instead comes total nothingness. Not only that… but you are unaware of the state of being… unaware.

Many a Christian has claimed that the atheist has confessed on his/her death bed a belief in god. Even if that happened, even if I were to do so, nothing would change. With death there is nothing, no worry, no hell, no heaven… just nothing.

So live your life… enjoy every minute. Don’t waste another second trying to spread the gospel, as it just ain’t so. Don’t kneel to a long dead Allah, a none existent deity, just go about trying to be happy and spread the happiness.  Make the here and now the heaven on earth it could have been without the existence of religion.

  • alienMany people have seen UFOs. I have. The question of the existence of UFOs then seems a given, they exist, what is known is what they are, if some agency is guiding them, if being guided… who is doing the guiding.

The book I am presently readingFor the moon is hollow For The Moon Is Hollow And Aliens Rule The Sky”, presents the possibility that the UFOs we have been seeing, at least some of them, may be guided, perhaps even “manned” by aliens inhabiting our moon. Our moon, it is speculated, is not a natural satellite at all but a large spaceship hollowed out by these alien beings.

spaceship moonI have read for years about this possibility starting with a book entitled: “Secrets of Our Spaceship Moon” from the 1970s. Particular aspects about the moon seem to indicate that it is hollow and not a natural satellite at all. Both Isaac Asimov Isaac_Asimovand Carl Sagan suspected that the moon was Carl-Sagan_3450_1395820543most likely an unnatural satellite. Numerous sightings of lights traveling across the moon have been reported for over a century. Structures appearing in photos of the moon, many then obscured, or airbrushed out of existence by NASA, are intriguing and if what they seem, definitely not of natural structures on the moonorigin.

Some speculate that these aliens are the greys so prominently displayed in our science fiction movies and books. Others grey-aliens-1conjecture they are the lizard aliens that are often reported by those wholizard alien claim to have met them. One woman, if I recall correctly, even claimed a love affair with one. A former worker at Area 51, small white aliennow deceased, again from memory, spoke of diminutive white aliens, similar in appearance to humans. It is this last group that I believe are indeed there, if any are there at all.

The book mentioned earlier, “For the Moon is Hollow and Aliens Rule the Sky”, suggested that alien races that chose to disembark from their original world in hollowed out asteroids, or planetoids like the moon, were dispersing “diaspora” of their race toasteroid spaceship various places for the sake of perpetuating the species. So dispersed it would be less likely that the species would come to a premature conclusion, unlike humans, earthbound as we are. The book goes on to say that chance encounters with other species, perhaps even more advanced than themselves, might eventually cause these spacefaring races to become very xenophobic, to seek to avoid spaceship moon 1encounters with other possibly hostile species. This, the book asserts, is where we sit now… Our moon is a satellite that has been guided into orbit by aliens for whatever purpose. Resources seem to be a lesser concern because they could easily obtain them from other worlds that are uninhabited, or even at the fringes of planetary systems from the various flotsam drifting about. It seems that they are interested, it is speculated, in us.

Why would an advanced alien species be interested in us? Perhaps, the author suggests, it is they hope to groom us as allies, soldiers in any interplanetary armyconflict they may have to face. Perhaps they are using us as a diversion. We are broadcast mikebroadcasting our existence into space on a daily basis. We are loud and proud and unaware like some naïve toddler. Aliens would hear us and not suspect that an advance race is hidden nearby. They would attack us while the advanced race makes a clean get away.

In any case, if the aliens possibly dwelling in ourmalevolent alien moon had malevolent intentions, they would have carried them out by now and I would not be here typing this post. If we take all of the reports of people over the years and draw some conclusions we might speculate that these alien spacefarers are abducting some to examine, dropping from the sky and taking samples of our animal husbandry, perhaps occasionally even testing our technology. Cattle mutilations have been frequently reported, mutilations carried out with surgical precision. (Yes, I have heard the stories that purport these mutilations are carried out by our own government clandestinely in areas of past nuclear fallout from bomb tests). Then there is the nuclear misslereported success of a UFO visiting a nuclear missile silo and switching off the machine therein. I heard this report many years ago. I have even heard that one UFO switched the missile on and a frantic effort had to be carried to shut it down before it launched.  Now, if the aliens meant us harm and had superior technology, desired our planet for whatever purpose, why are we still here?

The book suggests that our planet itself holds little interest to the beings. They have no doubt over the span of millennia grownasteroid hitting earth accustomed to living inside their artificial worlds… why would they want to live on the surface of a world and be so vulnerable, as humans most certainly are to being driven to extinction by whatever cosmic kill-shot, be it  asteroid, flare, cosmic rays, gamma bursts, etc. Safe inside their hollowed sphere, perhaps only large caverns are first_men_in_the_moon_04therein, they would be nearly totally secure. Even if the earth itself was demolished all they would have to do is use the same technology that guided the moon here to guide it elsewhere. By living on the surface of our world we are vulnerable. Even if we sought to live underground the tectonics of our particular world would endanger our survival. Despite the apparent contradiction, we would be safer inside a dead03.jpg satellite than on the surface of, or even underground on, a dynamic ever-changing world as the earth. It just makes good sense.

The universe is much older than our system. The earth formed some 4.6 billion years ago. universe        The universe may be as old as 15 billion years old, maybe older… we may not be able to see the end of the universe as yet, therefore be unable to definitively state its age. There has been plenty of time for other species of life to develop on distant worlds, mature, become technologically savvy, and construct hollow spaceships with which to seed the galaxy with their kind. Because of the vast distances of space, spaceships constructed from hollowed out planetoids may be the only feasible way to spread throughout the universe. Each ship would arrive at its destination harboring descendants of the original inhabitants. The inhabitants after many centuries, perhaps thousands of years, of travel would eventually know nothing other than living inside their “world” and may never want to live any other way.

I present all this information here because as you can tell I find it very interesting. Take it all with a grain of salt, salt-shaker-spilledthere are many other explanations of the moon’s origin. If you buy the book you will find many holes have developed in those explanations… (For example: Why are moon rocks older than the earth?) all but the spaceship moon theory, which explains everything quite clearly.

  • Society has a narrative going. By that, I mean it has a direction, that it is being clandestinely guided. The people doing this guiding consider themselves well-meaning and are called SJWs. They think they know what is best for you to believe, for what you to do. They develop a loose linkage with others, persuading them to their desire, for changes they think, mistakenly, that will improve society, or at least, make it more to their liking. With their cohorts they spread the propaganda they wish disseminated under the guise of doing good. Anyone that objects, or raises any dissent against it, is ridiculed into submission. By raising a stink, a continuous tirade, against the individual resisting, they can cause that person’s reputation to be irreparably tarnished, and even cause loss of job.

Anyone successfully retaining any kind of resistance to the on-going narrative is shunned, ostracized. If you do not conform to the narrative of the day you are excluded from society.

If you do not accept that transgender people are normal… you are ridiculed, shunned.

If you do not accept that gays should be married, you are shut out, ignored.

If you think feminists are not struggling for equality, you are shamed, pushed out.

If you believe that the religion of Islam is not one of peace and should be resisted rather than negotiated with, you are shouted down, denigrated as a bigot.

If you point out that black on white mob violence is rampant in our big cities you are labeled a racist and mocked. After all, the on-going narrative plainly states that blacks are victims only.

Resisting the on-going narrative isolates you. Standing up for morality bans you. Resisting the efforts of society in its rush to crush you is considered outrageous and out of hand.

This has been my fate. It is on-going even as I speak. This is what has made me a misanthrope. This is what has destroyed my naïve faith in humanity. This is what has made me decide that the human race is sliding into oblivion. This is what makes me no longer care.

  • Many atheists hold ideological beliefs. Mystifyingly they claim that they rely on reason and logic, yet grasp tenaciously upon untrue ideological beliefs.

    What are some of these?

    1. Feminism… there is no basis for the belief in a patriarchal entity.

    2. Homosexual orientation is genetically determined… there is no definitive study that asserts flat-out that this is the case.

    3. That transgender is genetically determined… even though it has not been determined scientifically.

What could lie at the core of these unfounded beliefs?

I assert that what has led to this aberration away from reason and logic is that desire by many atheists and humanists to attain a level of “open-mindedness” that leads to irrational acceptance of ideological beliefs cloaked as reason, but in reality composed of emotional desire. They want it to be so, so they assert it is so. Much like Christians or other religious peoples they want something to be… so pretend it is so. Just like the religious, the non-believer that holds fast to these ideological assertions cannot be swayed by logic or reason… because they did not obtain those beliefs by way of logic or reason. Any presentation of material or information that contradicts their beliefs is dismissed as attempts by “butt-hurt” people to oppose “progress”.

The three ideological beliefs listed above are not a complete list. There are many other large and minor beliefs held by non-believers. Many are inherent within groups where inevitably such ideologies develop. Many are held by individuals who desperately want to join such groups or otherwise are seeking the encouragement of others. It is no different than the mob mentality that led Christians to burn witches, or blacks to commit black on white crime in the big cities. It is almost impossible to avoid acquiring some sort of ideological unfounded belief when trying to assimilate into a group. It is nearly impossible to assimilate into a group unless you do so. On the other hand, the individual working alone has less influence and less chance at affecting change.

Many say you should accept the bad with the good in the name of progress… however, there are some things so adverse to civilization, so damaging, that to accept them is to accept doom. The three ideological beliefs listed above are, in my opinion, of this nature.

  • What reaction is in order for someone who has negatively affected your life? What if that person is a relative? What about what could be a mentally disturbed relative? What if you’re not sure whether they are mentally disturbed or just mean?

Those close to me know which relative I am discussing. This person has carried on this way for over thirty-five years. He has treated myself and my wife like dirt and then declared it our faults. He has cost my family potentially thousands of dollars, possibly hiding sources of income as well.

This person is perpetually angry. When he visits if you’re up, you’ll soon be down. You know that after he has gone it will be days before you will fully recover.

Years past we invited him during holidays. We had many a holiday wrecked in this way. He sops up your energy like a sponge and leaves you drained. You couldn’t lift him up as it was as if he was chained to the floor. Not only that, but it seemed very much like that was the way he liked it.

We stopped having him over… I think he knows why. He hasn’t changed but feels that every single thing wrong in his life was caused by someone else. It is a fact that his life is the total result of himself, but he refuses to see it that way. His choices, his demands, the goal posts he set for potential friends and mates so high in the sky. Goals he cannot, does not, does not try to, meet are erected as a test to any friends that might have been.

Yes, one of those who hears laughter across the room and just knows they are laughing at him. The look of disgust on someone’s face, no matter whether they look at him or not, is because of him… they simply glanced away, you know, before he caught them looking. Paranoid? His picture is beside the definition in any fine dictionary.

You can’t talk to him about any subject because at once he knows everything, and nothing.

Insults spew forth without regard. They come without trying or even knowing they exist. You want, no, need, to punch him out but you wonder if deep down inside he is sick and hitting the sick is something of which most are adverse.

You can tell him of his insults, his negative actions, but then he turns them back and blames you of the same and claims that you are simply getting your just deserts… in return for insults and past actions of which you have no recall, which no doubt were generated by his imagination.

An emotional vampire is a label that may apply. However, I have met many of those and his power, this fellows power, exceeds any such creature’s many degrees. It goes beyond mere soaking up the spirit of the day. It is worse than just a draining. Perhaps it might more approximate a severe beating, tongue lashing, and then sitting down to have two liters of blood drained from your body. It will take days to recover.

Well, this year I hope to leave all that alone. I will leave this fellow to his own designs. I do not know if he will continue. He might end it all. Thirty-five years of trying to lift him is way beyond what should have been spent. I want happiness for us. That will not transpire while constantly exposing ourselves to this fellow. So it will be. He will have to call. He never will, I know. He is very narcissistic, caring only about himself.

  • The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2015 annual report for this blog.

    Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,800 times in 2015. If it were a cable car, it would take about 47 trips to carry that many people.

Click here to see the complete report.

  • Why do I involve myself with social media like Facebook? Each day of my involvement in public media brings new disappointment as the people reveal themselves to me. Online it is easier for people to reveal their true natures. Most assuredly they try to hide behind avatars and false fronts but their actions online still reveal their true natures. People find it easier to be rude, crude, and despicable because of the anonymity offered by this venue.

One reason I still linger on Facebook is the hope of finding that at least one person is like-minded. Of course I cannot expect a total compatibility, there will always be some small thing that differs, like a preference for tea, instead of coffee, cake, instead of pie, etc.

I have listed my positions on line on many different issues, yet no one comes forward declaring they agree… granted, no one comes forward declaring they disagree either. In fact, the sound of the crickets is so much louder than the comments I receive.

My rantings online have become a near diary, rather than a presentation. Even this blog that I have maintained for many years, seems more a ledger to document my feelings rather than something to elicit interaction.

So why continue? It is a question still needing an answer. A question I need to answer. Perhaps I will answer it in this coming New Year.

  • Some people are paralyzed about what other people might think of them. They worry about making a fool of themselves, or that even someone might unfairly think of them as such. It doesn’t seem to matter that there are some who can never be pleased with you, you simply must please everyone.

It is thought that our ability to put ourselves into other peoples shoes, so to speak, causes us to wonder what they must think of our appearance or behavior. If one were an autistic of sorts, then perhaps what others thought would not be of concern. However then, you might have socializing problems of a different sort.

Most of the time people aren’t thinking about you at all. What a small task it should be then to assume they are never thinking about you. You must become comfortable with your own uniqueness, your own quirks and habits and not give a second thought about how they might perceive them. In any case, I’m sure you will agree that people will think what they think regardless of what you might do. Assume they see the best in you and in that way see the best in them too.

A lot of social anxiety can be put to rest by focusing on your activity and ignoring what others might be thinking about you. Unless you can read their minds how will you ever know anyway, so you might as well assume the best.

You can’t please everybody and you don’t have to.
