People can be so hurtful.

A lot of people use words carelessly and inadvertently cause emotional hurt to others. These people are simply crude individuals who have no care or understanding of the turmoil they cause. They go through life insulting others deeply all the while unaware. These people, though they should be avoided can at last measure be forgiven for their acts of cruelty. They are simply ignorant and don’t know any better.

Then there is the other group. These people, who because of their own inadequacies , intentionally say and do things to hurt others. These people are unforgivable. These are the people who have no one except closest of relatives at their funeral, most of which are there to insure that they receive their measure of whatever belongings of the deceased remain. These people are the ones who are not remembered for anything other than the pain they caused. They are miserable miscreants, miserable in life, and whose only release from that misery, is death. 

Why do people make up stories instead of simply telling the truth. Of what possible use is it to lie when the simple truth will suffice. Perhaps to save face? Perhaps to make a situation more comfortable? Perhaps to protect one self from possible retribution from the boss? Perhaps people are just afraid of the reaction of others and produce a simple lie that will make a situation go away. I myself have told simple lies. I learned in the military that sometimes the truth is no better than a lie and in fact can lead to the same or perhaps worse consequences. One thing I try so very hard, is to never lie to a friend. One simple lie can make all trust and respect evaporate so quickly.

     Is it possible to abdicate from the human race? If done, can rights be maintained to insure that oppression does not take place?

     The Human Race is so filled with flaws that it’s continued existence is in question. So many people are involved in so many fantasies and reality is not one of them. Many fantasies are in conflict with other individual fantasies causing inefficiency, disagreements, and even violence. The saying," We are not on the same page." is true of every single person to some degree or other.

     This is no doubt the price that must be paid for individual free will. Yet it seems the result may some day spell the extinction of us all.

     What is the answer then? It certainly is not religion which has caused more heartache and tragedy than it ever ameliorated. 

Dictators enforcing individual fantasies have failed miserably.

There have been countless Gurus throughout the ages that have not persuaded sufficient numbers to make a difference.

The whole of the human race or at least a majority thereof must be involved to make a difference. Small factions can be dealt with reasonably. If the majority goes one way then perhaps there would be hope that our demise can be avoided.

Whoops! That’s just another fantasy.

BELIEF IS IRRELEVANT

Just heard that the Taliban is alive and well in Afghanistan having reconstituted itself from those who had been captured and subsequently freed. Yes, those that had been defeated, captured and imprisoned, freed due to varied circumstances, have simply resumed their mission of hate.

What more proof is required that these people cannot be reasoned with, that the only thing they understand is death, the only thing that will stop them.

The only question the West has to answer is : Will we be the ones to die, or will it be them?

There is no middle ground.
