Feminism: Not the Movement You Thought It Was … March 24, 2014

Thanks to the feminist movement in a few decades men have gone from being respected protective members of the family to being depicted in TV and Movies as buffoons. You cannot name one recent program or movie where men are presented as responsible intelligent father figures. In tv sitcoms they may be good-hearted father figures but invariably they are depicted as immature, dumb, lazy, and incompetent.

Does anyone seriously believe that this constant presentation of men in this fashion has no impact? Of course it does. Don’t you think young males watch television? Tv programs and commercials portray couples as having a smart and competent wife while the male part of the couple is an idiot. The days of Ward Cleaver are gone. Today the “new dad” is portrayed as unemployed, unaware, and totally emasculated.

Men are routinely denigrated by women in film and print. For example, in an article in the New York Times author and journalist Natalie Angier wrote:

“Women may not find this surprising, but one of the most persistent and frustrating problems in evolutionary biology is the male. Specifically … why doesn’t he just go away?”

Maureen Dowd who wrote “Are Men Necessary?”, in an interview said,

“Now that women don’t need men to reproduce and refinance, the question is, will we keep you around? And the answer is, ‘ You know, we need you in the way we need ice cream – you’ll be more ornamental.”

Author Pamela Paul author of “Are Fathers Necessary?” wrote:

“The bad news for Dad is that despite common perception, there’s nothing objectively essential about his contribution.”

To get a true perspective on these quotes pretend a man said:

“Men may not find this surprising, but one of the most persistent and frustrating problems in evolutionary biology is the female. Specifically … why doesn’t she just go away?”

Do the same with the other quotes and you begin to see how heinous they are. Indeed, these, as well as other statements by women in powerful positions make it clear that there is no war on women, there is instead an all out assault, a war on men.

The truth is … the patriarchy the feminists tell women they must fight against… never existed. Men never oppressed women. When women did not have the vote that was simply they way things were, when they got the vote, it proved the patriarchy did not exist. Even before the vote it was clear that the patriarchy did not exist as many women held public offices. Under a patriarchy this would not have been permitted. The feminist movement was conceived and propagated by a few malcontents wanting power through the use of lies and other women willing to believe them.

Americans, including many foolish men, have been hoodwinked. Feminism was never about equal rights. Feminism is a war on men.

Feminism has in modern times severed the bond between men and women, pitting them against one another. While young women report with increasing percentage that a successful marriage is one of the most important things in their lives, men have the opposite viewpoint.

The form of equality sought by feminists is one that requires not only “liberation” from traditional roles but also from being female. “Being a woman is like being handicapped,” say feminists. The type of equality they seek declares that there is no difference between men and women and that they are totally interchangeable. This is a recipe for misery. Men and women have never been, aren’t now, and never will be interchangeable.

The modern notion of equality doesn’t raise women’s status. It lowers it by cheapening women’s value to men.”

Many women over the past few years have been asking where all the good men have gone. The answer is that for decades women have been telling men that they can do everything for themselves and men have heard the message “We don’t need you” very clearly.

Gender equality is not about equality. It is about creating a new world order. It is about the denial of human nature, it is about making the sexes interchangeable.

Before all this shit about the sexual revolution traditional gender roles were viewed as equally valuable. In fact, it could be argued that women were superior to men. Keep in mind the incident with the Titanic, you know, women and children first and all. Keep in mind how men were expected to stand when a woman entered the room.

American men were never holding women down in mass force. They were respectful and in awe of women.

The feminists were wrong, the 1950’s were not a miserable time for women. For every one dissatisfied female, there were a hundred satisfied women. The nuclear family worked very well for a very long time. Feminists place no value on motherhood. Money and power, they exclaim, is how success is defined.

I personally find it disgusting that some men have fallen for the feminist rhetoric and have begun supporting this movement which ultimately declares his obsolescence. I have even seen shirts printed for little girls that say “Daddy’s Little Feminist”, worn in ignorance, as it ultimately declares contempt for the father it supposedly salutes.

Ultimately, here’s the truth: A woman can live alone, can be just fine without a man. The reverse is true also, a man can live alone, can be fine without a woman. Yet, it is better when a man is with a woman, and a woman is with a man.

The above facts is why I am now not just wearing the label atheist. I am now “atheist/anti-feminist” and look upon feminism as either a disease, or surely as an enemy, not just of men, but of humanity. And it surely is. Many women are innocent pawns I fully believe and are not aware of the ramifications of what they have signed up for.
