Many believers in religion will say: “Wait until you’re dead”, when you proclaim your disbelief in a God or gods. This belief comforts them and immobilizes them in the real world. Why take action against someone who has wronged you if, upon their death, your god will punish the evil doers. Atheists know that nothing awaits once your frail human body disintegrates into disassociated atoms. No consciousness. No experience. Once you are dead you do not know you are dead.
Religion, it is clear, has been altered into a form that will render the poor harmless. The more prosperous will feign believe in order to help those below them accept the religion as real. In reality, those that use religion, do not believe in it.
If the well-to-do did not do this the poor would most likely rise up and slaughter them in their King-size beds. With the tenants of their religions tutoring them to respect and serve those superior to them, life, and the misery of the poor continues.
